About the Department:

The Department of Chemical engineering was started in the year 2002 with a mission of imparting technical knowledge and skills to the students to become technically sound, practical, self-sufficient Chemical Engineers. Department has a  well established state-of-art laboratories to imbibe practical knowledge to the students. Our Course content includes Chemical Engineering thermodynamics, Advanced pollution control, Chemical reaction engineering, Fluidized Engineering, Wastewater treatment, Modern Separation process, Solid Waste management, Green Technology and Health Hazards landfill & The Department has Advanced Instruments in lab and students are encouraged to engage themself in reseach activities 

 

 

 

BIOTECHNOLOGY

 

Vision:

To develop competent and creative biotechnologists and build up excellence in the field of biotechnology.

Mission:

To setup state of art, research and development centre to guide our students for attaining professional      competency, to obtain industry based projects from the   government sectors and establish internship programmes with leading industries and organizations.

 

About the Department:

The department of Biotechnology was started in the Academic year 2006 -07. Our laboratory is modernized and well equipped to conduct advanced research in different areas of Biotechnology. Advanced instruments include ELISA, PCR, Fermentor, and Electrophortic Apparatus, DNA Documentation System, Blotting Apparatus, Ultra & Micro filtration system, Spectrophotometer, Environmental Growth Chambers, High speed cooling centrifuges, Fluorescence and Phase Contrast Microscope etc., are catering the need of R & D activities and regular lab Practical’s.&Technology can be enabled and developed in the present scenario only through collaborative activities, and one such step in the developmental process is our National conference on Recent Trends in Bio-Chemical Engineering. Biotechnology and Chemical Engineering departments have joined hands together to provide a interdisciplinary platform for the students to learn and develop technology & Plant and Animal Biotechnology
